MEET YOUR GUIDE

I'm Kami MadArt. I'm an artist based in Valencia, with a background in design, painting, ceramics, and art therapy.

I'm also the founder of Creative Mind Shampoo, where I explore what happens when we stop trying to think our way through everything and let creativity take us somewhere unexpected.

I’m interested in what happens when you put down the roles, the expectations, and the version of yourself you’ve become very good at being, and give the rest of you a little room to speak. Through painting, I create experiences that help you get past the usual answers, discover what you didn't know you were carrying, and see yourself from a different angle. You don't need to know how to paint. You just need to be curious about what might happen when you stop trying to get it right.

It's a guided creative journey where colour, intuition and a few well-placed questions show you things words alone won't.

One painting develops with you over four weeks.

Each week, we'll explore a different layer of your life and identity through painting, prompts and intuitive exercises. You'll add to the same piece rather than starting over each time, so the painting gradually becomes something much more complex than you could have planned at the beginning.

There is no picture to copy, no technique you have to master and no expectation that you already know how to paint. I'll guide the process.

You'll work on a single piece throughout the experience, allowing each layer to interact with everything that came before it.

A final reveal

AND WHO AM I?

I'M KAMI :)

I am an artist based in Valencia, and my path to painting has taken me through many disciplines. Having spent my adult life abroad, I bring an international perspective shaped by a long career at sea, as well as work in property development and design.

I hold a Master's degree in Interior Design from Florence Design Academy and have formal training in painting and ceramics. My multidisciplinary background also includes practice in art therapy and hypnotherapy, informing my interest in perception, emotion, and how we experience change.

I am the founder of Creative Mind Shampoo, where I am developing my own approach to using artistic creation as a tool for mental wellbeing, emotional expression and personal growth.

Having experienced extraordinary highs and profound lows, I draw on the moments that have sharply altered my own life. Through expressive forms, organic structures, texture and light, I seek to capture not simply what happens to us, but the often indescribable feeling of being changed by it.

That's the part I find fascinating.

Sometimes the things that appear when you stop trying to make something happen are far more interesting than anything you could have planned.
